The kernel test robot reports a boot failure with qemu in 5.5-rc, referencing commit2203cbf2c8("net: sfp: move fwnode parsing into sfp-bus layer"). This is caused by phylink_create() being passed a NULL fwnode, causing fwnode_property_get_reference_args() to return -EINVAL. Don't attempt to attach to a SFP bus if we have no fwnode, which avoids this issue. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
